Welcome to the home of Solent Sports Mens Teams.

About the teams.

We currently have one Saturday mens team who joined us this season from Hamble United, they play in the Southampton Saturday League.

Our Hamble Sunday team and Gosport team are now in their third season with the club and are very established.

Our new teams for the 24/25 season are the Hamble development team and our Portsmouth based teams.

Home Grounds

We’re really lucky to have access to fantastic venues.

The Hamble teams play most of their games in Hamble at either Roy Underdown Pavillion or Mount Pleseant pitches.

Our Gosport team has Brune Park school to call home.

Our Portsmouth teams are nomadic but Langstone Harbour seems to be our preferred pitch.

Players

We are always looking to add players to our squads.
At senior level, our ethos is on winning fairly.
We hope that we have created the best learning environment for you to progress, learn, and become the best player you can be.
If our squads are full, you are still welcome to train with us and join in any friendlies until a place becomes available.

We provide a minimum of one training session a week and expect players to be working on fitness in their own time. We also work with Coachability Coaches, who, for a small fee, provide extra 1:1 or small group sessions for those who want to progress.

For players who want to get into coaching or referring, please speak to your manager, and we can then explore these options.

Our subs are £240 per year, split into manageable £20 monthly payments rolling over 12 months.
his includes:
-All training costs, including winter (3G or Astro) training.
-Game subs, including friendlies and some tournaments.
-Your own match kit which you keep, and a training top.

We have extra training kit that can be purchased from the club shop (link at the top of the page).

Coaches

Good coaches who can manage players are the lifeblood of grassroots football.
We are always searching for good coaches to join us, whether alone or with a team.
Our unique club structure allows for team development throughout the county.

We believe in investing in our coaches and cover the costs of all essential training courses and DBS checks.
We also support coaches in obtaining higher coaching qualifications whenever possible.

We provide all necessary coaching equipment along with a training jacket.
