This team is one of the two dedicated charity teams based in the vibrant town of Gosport, known for its strong community spirit and commitment to helping those in need.
The teams are formed from enthusiastic players who regularly attend our Gosport Recreational football group, fostering not only teamwork and sportsmanship but also lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging among all members involved.

Andys Man Club
Solent Sports FC Gosport will be playing football matches and holding various events throughout the 24/25 season to raise funds and awareness to support Andy’s Man Club.
The story of this partnership goes back to 2021 when two members of Solent Sports, Steve Fletcher and Adam Bland wanted to do something to help men who were struggling with their mental health. Inspired by personal experiences and the need for community support, they knew they had to take action to destigmatize mental health issues among men. Working with Andy’s Man Club, they launched Gosport, Portsmouth, and Eastleigh Andy’s Man Clubs. Their initiative quickly gained traction within the local community, as more men recognized the importance of seeking help and sharing their experiences. At the time, the clubs were all based at local football grounds, but they have since grown way beyond those locations and now cover most of the UK.
Andy’s Man Club is there to help any man going through a storm by offering peer-to-peer support groups.
Through this partnership, they aim to foster a safe environment where men can openly discuss their feelings and struggles, ultimately improving mental well-being.
