Another goal-packed weekend for Solent Sports FC saw the men’s sides involved in a trio of dramatic league encounters, headlined by a twelve-goal classic and a spirited point on the road.
SSFC Titans 7 – 5 Netley Royals (Home | League)
The Titans maintained their 100% start to the league campaign following an astonishing twelve-goal spectacle on home soil. Tali Browne was the star of the show, netting a brilliant hat-trick to lead the line. He was backed up by clinical braces from both Lincoln Davie and David Panjganj in an unrelenting attacking display. Netley Royals threw everything forward to keep the contest on a knife-edge, but the Titans’ firepower proved decisive once again to secure all three points.
AFC Hillsea 3 – 3 SSFC Pompey (Away | League)
SSFC Pompey kicked off their league campaign with a pulsating 3–3 draw on the road against AFC Hillsea. In a fiercely contested battle where momentum swung from end to end, Pompey found the net through well-taken strikes from Cam Atkinson, Belal Taybi, and Laurie McIntosh. Showing real character in hostile territory, the visitors dug deep in the closing stages to make sure they travelled home with a well-deserved point on the board.
Pace 5 – 1 SSFC Butchers (Away | League)
It was another tough afternoon away from home for the Butchers as they fell 5–1 to a sharp Pace side. Despite the difficult scoreline, the lads continued to work tirelessly across the pitch, with Coby Oram-Parris providing the highlight of the match by finishing off a fine move for the Butchers. The squad will look to put the early-season road tests behind them as they regroup in training this week.
With the Titans continuing their
free-scoring form and Pompey showing true grit away from home, attention turns straight back to the training pitch ahead of another massive weekend of fixtures.
